Occupational Health & Safety Objectives

The management and staff at Success 5 Engineering are committed and will strive to:

  • Providing a healthy and safe workplace for all personnel
  • Train, educate and communicate with employees, contractors, customers, visitors and other relevant
  • interested parties in regard to occupational health and safety processes and procedures
  • Conduct regular management review meetings to ensure our occupational health & safety management system is reviewed and controlled appropriately
  • Conduct audits of key processes within the business as part of our continual improvement process

We seek to achieve this through:

  • Developing and implementing procedures, processes and instructions to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained
  • Continually improving our occupational health & safety management system
  • Defining and meeting objectives, by documenting and monitoring measurable occupational health and safety targets aimed at the elimination of work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Providing, as appropriate, employees, contractors, customers, visitors and other relevant interested parties with adequate resources, regular information, instructions, training and supervision to ensure their safety and health
  • Compliance to statutory, regulatory and other requirements
  • Applying a Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology to our occupational health & safety management system
  • Applying Risk Based Thinking within our systems, operations and processes
  • Ensuring our occupational health & safety management system is conformant and certified to AS/NZS 4801:2001 and OSHAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, National and International Standards

Employees, contractors, customers, visitors and other relevant interested parties are required to follow all health and safety policies, procedures and instructions; and report all known hazards to their immediate manager or supervisor.
